After the Indian market at the beginning of the year, Xiaomi markets its 20,000 mAh external battery in China. The device is compatible with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology and the user will have two quick charging ports available.
A new version of the Mi Power Bank
The manufacturer took advantage of this launch to reveal some modifications. Even though the battery still has an ABS plastic body to promote grip, it is slightly thicker than its predecessor with 23.9mm. Its dimension also reaches 135.5 × 67.6mm, thus gaining in compactness compared to the previous model.
When both ports are used, the battery provides 5.1V / 3.6A. On the other hand, if the user connects a single device, it will have three different outputs: 5V / 2.4A - 9V / 2A and 12V / 1.5A. In addition to the Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology, the Mi power bank also benefits from a fast charging system for its power supply.
This new external battery of 20000 mAh displays the same price as the previous model, it costs 149 yuan. For the time being, Xiaomi has not specified whether it intends to commercialize it internationally or not.
