Last November, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced to a Twitter user that the company would launch its new improved autopilot system in December.
It seems that the promise will be kept, given that it is again via Twitter that Musk has just announced the release of the new features of its improved autopilot starting next weekend.
It's been a while since "autopilot" is available on some model S cars, but Tesla recently revealed that all their new vehicles would have an upgraded version of their system, the so-called "upgraded Hardware HW2" Autopilot more efficient and updated. Until now the system did not include all the features of its old version, which should change according to the latest announcement made by Elon Musk and apparently as early as next week.
Features such as automatic navigation, automatic file change, automatic parking, different alerts such as collision avoidance and many others would all be improved and / or implemented around December 28th. This new version of the autopilot would be updated, little by little, regularly every month. This suggests that the cars of the said company would become totally autonomous moving actually without external operator.
