Samsung: the Galaxy A5 will have its Nougat

Even though it is not a high-end, the Galaxy A series has received two major Android updates. And for good reason, this is one of the most beautiful successes of Samsung this year. As an example, the Galaxy A5 has been selected among the two best mid-range models of our comparative smartphones.
The South Korean firm wants to continue this strategy, iOS Nougat would be deployed on the 2016 editions of these smartphones.

The deployment of Android 7.0 Nougat could last until 2017

For now, Samsung has not specified the details of this update. As it has several high-end devices to take care of, it could take its time with the mid-range models. In addition, the Galaxy "A" series is composed of six products (A3, A5, A7, A8, A9 and A9 Pro), and owners may wait until the second quarter of next year. Note that a simple upgrade would be envisageable for the Galaxy A8 (2016) and A9 Pro, these two models turn under Marshmallow.

Currently, the South Korean company is working on the deployment of Android 7.0 Nougat to its flagship models S6, S7, S7 edge, Note 5 and Tab S2. As a result, deployment for the A-Series may begin towards the end of this month. Finally, according to information available, version 6.0 of Android would still be installed on the 2017 editions of this range.
