According to rumors, Xiaomi would prepare a high-end smartphone with a screen less than 5 inches. Precisely, the Mi S would be equipped with a slab of 4.6 inches. The Chinese manufacturer thus targets a niche neglected by other manufacturers since Samsung increased the size of the displays.
A compact high-end smartphone
The screen would have a resolution of 1080p and its brightness would reach 600 nits. For its protection, the manufacturer would install a special glass that would stand out by its bulging shape. From a technical point of view, the presence of a Snapdragon 821, it is supported by 4 GB of RAM and the phone would also benefit from a storage of 128 GB. Moreover, this great capacity is also extensible thanks to a card MicroSD.
The power supply is provided by a 2600 mAh battery, and is compatible with the fast charging technology, Quick Charge 3.0. For the photos, the owner would have at his disposal a sensor IMX378 of 12 Mpx, it is supported by a lens that opens at f / 2,9. For selfies, the APN displays a resolution of 4 Mpx.
For now, Xiaomi has not yet commented on these details. Apart from some images that have leaked on Weibo, no other information is available.
