The Nintendo Switch would be much less powerful than the PS4 and Xbox One

If several indications already announced two configurations for the Nintendo Switch according to its use, this seems to be confirmed as indicated on Monday the Eurogamer site.
At the beginning of December, Let's Play Video Games announced that the Nintendo Switch would display images in Full HD or 720p depending on its use. Used nomadically, it would display a 720p bridged image, while connected to its dock on the TV, it would be able to calculate a 1080p image by using fans in the base that would cool the SoC Nvidia integrated in The Nintendo hybrid console.

Information that seems to be confirmed by the Eurogamer website. This Monday, the British site specializing in the actuality of the video game has indeed revealed much information about the technical characteristics of the Nintendo Switch, such as the presence of the processorTegra X1 of Nvidia, not the X2. In addition to the display performance, the console would also be more powerful when connected to the base, switching from a GPU speed of 307.8 MHz to 768 MHz. More power than the Wii U, but still much lower than the Nvidia Shield Android TV console or competing consoles.

"Those hoping for a Switch that will allow Nintendo to compete with Microsoft and Sony consoles should stifle their expectations. There will be plenty of multi-platform games (as Nintendo said with Skyrim images), but we should not expect to see huge blockbusters on the Switch, "says Eurogamer. The console of Nintendo seems indeed too little powerful to run very demanding games.

Nintendo's Switch will be officially announced on the Nintendo Switch, whether it's its technical features, date of marketing, price or game catalog as of January 12, when Nintendo officially presents its Console in good shape.
