The assumptions are multiplying about the Galaxy S8. According to SamMobile, Samsung would launch two models. While the former would have a 5-inch screen, the latter would look more like a phablette with its 6-inch screen.
SamMobile relies on a recent report to support its information. This document confirms the existence of two versions that differentiated by the size of their screen. The first would thus benefit from a slab of 5 inches while the second would have a monitor of 6 inches, it would thus enter the category of phablettes. Currently, the South Korean firm would have finalized the partnership with its suppliers and they would start production from next month. However, the official presentation may not be held at the Mobile Show in Barcelona. In this context, a dedicated event would be organized in April 2017.
Samsung tests several prototypes
This report also provides information about other features such as the disappearance of the physical button or the use of a two-edged curved screen. For standard 3.5 mm headphone jacks, sources contradict each other. Some argue the absence of this port while others confirm its presence. Faced with this situation, SamMobile believes that the Korean manufacturer carries out several tests in order to increase its chances of success.
