Galaxy Note 7: Samsung extends remote disabling

The saga of the Galaxy Note 7 is not over yet. After several recall campaigns around the world, Samsung still faces the last few recalcitrants. Indeed, for reasons unknown, some people refuse to return their smartphones.

To avoid any other accidents or even injuries, the Korean firm decided to harden these measures. So she started to remotely disable the Galaxy Note 7 that remain in circulation. To do this, Samsung worked with local operators to make the last terminals unusable.

After New Zealand, Samsung now tackles Australia. According to some sources, the company may well extend the deactivations in the rest of the world very soon.

Following the scandal of overheated batteries, Samsung saw its numbers drastically decrease. The firm that has suffered too much does not want to face another accident. Moreover, Samsung has still not declared the official reason for the explosions of its smartphone but according to the latest rumors, the design of the Galaxy Note 7 would be the origin of the problem.
