Gigabyte's new compact gamer PC still has a funny look

Gigabyte launches a new compact BRIX series, the BRIX Gaming GT (or BRIX-GZ1DTi7), equipped with a GTX 1070 or 1080.

Indeed, Gigabyte has just introduced a new desktop PC for video games. A green grid, flash LEDs, several oval shapes and a tiny body; This new machine surprises as much by its design as by what it has in the belly. This compact tower will measure 276 x 384 x 128mm with a rather robust technical data sheet.

Two versions will be offered, one housing a Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming with 8 Gb memory, the other a Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 G1 Gaming with also 8GB of dedicated memory. Whatever its option of graphics card, the PC will see in his heart, a processor Intel of 6th generation skylake, an i7 6700K quad-core clocked with 4.0 GHz of base (overcloackable).

Memory level, the BRIX Gaming GT will feature 16 GB of DDR4 SO-DIMM ram. Its storage space will be divided between two disks: a 240 Gb SSD M.2 and a 7200 RPM hard disk of 1TB. Level connectors will find a USB port 3.1 Type-C compatible with Thunderblot 3, 3 USB 3.0 ports (type A). It is specified that Windows 10 will be preinstalled on this machine which seems to be a good compromise between an optimal gaming experience and a small ideal size especially for a VR installation. No information concerning the price or date of marketing has been communicated, the wait should not be too long.
