Another Yoga Book, this time under Chrome OS

Another Yoga Book, this time under Chrome OS

After Android then Windows, the next Yoga Book of Lenovo will have for  Chrome OS.
Lenovo vice president Jeff Meredith has confirmed that the next computer / tablet all touch Yoga Book will feature the new operating system from Google.

A third version, a third OS

Despite already two versions of the Yoga book, one under Android 6.0 and one under Windows 10, Lenovo decides to continue to diversify the offer for its portable notebook hybrid. Jeff Meredith believes that Chrome OS should attract a lot of customers, especially students or professors since they would seem to be rather fond of existing Chrome books. After marketing the same machine under two different OSs, testing this 3rd seemed just as legitimate and interesting.

This version will be equipped with the pen "Real Pen" allowing to write directly on the keyboard with smooth surface or to cut, point, highlight directly on the screen.

The expected characteristics are the same as those of its last two counterparts:

Intel Atom x5 processor
IPS 10.1 "Full HD screen (1920 x 1200) with capacitive touch screen and AnyPen technology
Cameras at the front (2 Mpx) and at the rear (8 Mpx)
Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos sound
Storage 64GB
Starting from 690 g

No specific date has yet been given but this new hybrid is expected to be released in 2017.
