Titanfall Frontline: iOS and Android versions canceled

Titanfall Frontline: iOS and Android versions canceled

The bad news disappointed Titanfall fans who were hoping for a mobile version of the game for several months. Respawn Entertainment had released beta versions on iOS and Android but eventually renounced its project.

Titanfall: Frontline is a card game based on the futuristic universe of Titanfall. The game has seen a beta version on iOS and Android. But according to a post Facebook of Respawn Entertainment, this version will be the only one. The project will not go on.

A decision that the studio justifies by the difficulty to recreate the sensations of the gameplay on a mobile platform. "We learned an incredible number of things during this beta, but eventually the experience was not able to provide the full action gameplay that goes with Titanfall," he says on his official page.

The US studio will end the beta in two days and their servers will no longer respond as of January 20th. But since the partnership between Respawn and Nexon is still valid, it may well be that another version of Titanfall is born on a mobile platform. "We are excited to use the concepts that appealed to players in our future Titanfall mobile games," said Respawn Entertainment.
