Apple does not want Samsung Pay on iPhone

According to information relayed by ET News, the Cupertino firm has refused to offer the application Samsung Pay in its App Store. And for good reason, this program is positioned on the same niche as Apple pay. The Korean firm did not make a wave after this refusal.

Samsung pay mini will be launched next January

Samsung Pay Mini is an extension of the contactless payment system from the Korean manufacturer to other brands of smartphones. After testing the compatibility of the application with credit cards issued by financial institutions, Samsung decided that the official launch will be held next January. For iPhone owners to benefit from this app, Samsung had offered it to the App Store. As the brand to the apple sent a notification of refusal, a company representative announced that they will focus on smartphones that run Android OS.

Apple has not provided any official explanation for this refusal. Some observers argue that the US firm would consider launching Apple pay on the South Korean market next year while others believe that the reasons would be related to security. In any case, mobile payment is in full progression and it has become a real economic stake for builders.
