This is perhaps a rumor, but some observers generally well-informed think that Nintendo would have in mind the launch of a Super Nintendo Classic.
It would be quite logical for this console when we see the success that experienced the Nintendo Classic Edition this year. The other argument that suggests that Nintendo expects this release is the fact that the NES Classic Edition was so successful that it ended up out of stock and the auction went up to $ 300 on EBay while Nintendo sold it 60 dollars ... Nintendo could therefore anticipate by proposing the SNES Classic Edition at a higher price with a higher production.
Anyway, all this is just speculation about a leak concerning a well-kept secret or a voluntary teasing from Nintendo. It would in any case be logical from a commercial point of view that Nintendo is launching this new retro edition of its famous console that has achieved immense global success.
