Apple Watch 3: finer with the haptic motor in the bracelet?

Apple Watch 3: finer with the haptic motor in the bracelet?

In a recent patent discovered by AppleInsider, it seems that Apple is studying several options in order to move the haptic motor of its intelligent watch towards the bracelet. This arrangement would make it possible to thin the device.

The Cupertino firm prepares the Apple Watch 3

Apple Watch owners deplore the thickness of their watch despite its overall quality. However, the Cupertino company is renowned for the thinness of its appliances. Thus, observers expect it to consider several options to lighten the design of its smartwatch. A patent relayed by AppleInsider provides guidance to this effect.

According to this document, the apple brand is considering moving some components like the haptic motor. With this option, the Apple Watch would become thinner. However, the overall weight of the apparatus would remain stable. Even if the device could be placed anywhere on the bracelet, the diagram suggests a proximity to the interface of the magnetic tape. For its part, AppleInsider believes that the engine could be integrated into the diagnostic port.

For the moment, this information remains at the patent stage. In any case, competition is intensifying in the niche of smartwatch and manufacturers must continue to innovate in order to attract consumers.
