The night mode of Apple finally arrives on MacOS

The night mode of Apple finally arrives on MacOS

After iOS, the "Night Shift" mode finally lands on MacOS. Apple introduced the feature in the latest beta version of Sierra 10.12.4.
The problem when you use your smartphone or computer for too long is that you tired your eyes very quickly especially when it is dark. The luminosity of the screen is indeed too aggressive with colors too bright for our eyes. The "Night Shift" or night mode allows less to attack the eyes. It also facilitates sleep since it removes the blue light usually present on the screens.

Already present on the iPhone, night mode is finally available on MacOS. Thus the colors of the screen adapt to the outside brightness. The colors become warmer and less vibrant, which requires less effort on the eyes. Mac4ever made the comparison between the screen of a Mac without the night mode and a Mac with the night mode.

If you downloaded the latest beta version, you can enable the feature in the system preferences, the "Monitors" tab.
