While the 15031 pre-release of Windows 10 for PC came out yesterday, it's the turn of the Windows 10 beta for smartphones to land on Microsoft's servers. If we can deplore the absence of novelties in this edition, we nevertheless find a nice batch of fixes dedicated to the mobile system and its applications.
A single novelty is mentioned by Microsoft in this new version of Windows 10 Mobile: the icon of sharing has changed of look (picture opposite). Nothing transcendent in sum, Microsoft having preferred, in this edition, to put the double digits on patches. Thus, the calendar of the Mail application has been corrected, as well as the copy and paste of a PDF text within Microsoft Edge. The bug on pausing a streamed audio song has been deleted and those who regularly connect their smartphones to their PC may be pleased to learn that it is now possible to delete a complete directory without a problem. Finally, Microsoft has corrected some bugs in video games. The rest of the different fixes can be found on the Microsoft blog.
As usual, to take advantage of all these corrections, it is advisable to accept to download the pre-versions of the Windows Insider. We will have to wait a little longer before seeing the introduction of the lighting mode for the night, which removes the blue light from the screen and which would allow you to fall asleep better. Improvements related to Continuum should also be part of the game. It remains to be seen if all these new features will be integrated into the Creators Update of Windows 10 Mobile which should be released next April, or if they will be added to another edition of the operating system later this year.
