Microsoft has unveiled this week the beta version of Skype for iOS and Android. The company seems to favor the practical aspect of its application.
In particular, it introduced a reaction system that is somewhat similar to that of Facebook. Now, it is possible to display emoticons, text and photos during a video call.
The interface has been reviewed to facilitate this new functionality. Indeed, it is enough of a movement from right to left to access the camera from the window of the conversations. But Microsoft has also introduced a search panel where it is possible to share and view news. Users will no longer need to switch from one application to another to search for content.
These features are only available with the beta version of Skype for iOS and Android. But we will have to wait until the final version to benefit. Meanwhile, users older than 7.18 on MacOS and 7.16 on PC will have to update their software. Microsoft will deactivate them from March 1st.
