GTA IV is now playable on Xbox One

The adventure game GTA IV as well as its extensions The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and Damned are extending the list of Xbox 360 games compatible with the Xbox One console. Players will be able to find war veteran Niko Bellic for new adventures.
All media types are affected. With the physical version of the game, you must insert the disc into the console and wait for loading as the device downloads the game to the hard drive. For digital titles, please see the "Ready to Install" section where the backward compatibility games are displayed.

The graphics remain true to the 2008 version, but the game becomes a bit more fluid on Xbox One with an additional 5 to 8 frames per second. The title even reaches 40 frames per second in some cases. If some players need to start zeros, those who have saved games using the Cloud Saved Games feature will have a head start.

GTA IV has been a great success on Xbox 360 and PS3 with over 25 million games sold. This success has earned him to join the closed circle of Xbox 360 compatible games on Xbox One where Prince of Persia and Assassin's Creed have long been enthroned.
