Piaggio works on a luggage transport robot

Piaggio works on a luggage transport robot

It may be painful to carry your luggage on the street. In the absence of people to help, here is a robot that could be the ideal companion. This is Gita produced by Piaggio Group.

It is Piaggio Fast Forward, a subsidiary of the large Italian group that developed this little robot called Gita, their very first creation. This prototype remains above all a personal loading robot whose design and use are quite simple as shown in the photo above. The machine clears the user of all his luggage so that he can walk freely.

Gita's asset lies in the fact that it is completely autonomous. It follows the guidelines based on a map and develops a top speed of 35 kilometers per hour. It also has a zero turning radius that allows it to move easily and manage the corners better. The prototype accepts a maximum load of 18 kilograms.

For now, Gita is still in the testing phase over the next six months before a possible commercialization.
