First of all with regard to design, Android Wear 2.0 brings the ability to customize the watch's screensaver. You can choose from several pre-recorded watch faces and add widgets. You can also program different screensavers depending on the time of day.
The update also brings more ease and fluidity with direct access to certain applications. This is the case, for example, with the Google Play Store, which you can access directly from your watch. For more speed also, it is now possible to answer messages using his voice.
Moreover, AndroidWear 2.0 brings an improvement to Google Fit. Now the application will be able to measure the calories expended, follow the heart rate and calculate the speed and distance traveled.
Finally, Google is taking advantage of this new update to integrate its contactless payment service Google Play and its virtual assistant. At the moment these features are only available in the US.
Android Wear 2.0 will be deployed in the coming weeks on connected watches including the new LG Watch Style and LG Watch Sport.
