Huawei will present the P10 and Watch 2 at the Mobile World Congress on 26 February.
Through a video titled "# HuaweiP10 is coming", the Chinese manufacturer confirms that it will present its next high-end smartphone at the end of February.
Short, the trailer lasts only 20 seconds and shows at no time a rendering, even blurry, of the phone. Only a hashtag followed by two eyes appears. A clue that would confirm the presence of a dual photo sensor on the P10, like the P9 before him. It would still use Leica optics.
According to the rumors, this smartphone would be declined in two versions: P10 and P10 Plus. The P10 would have a 5.2-inch (2560 x 1440 pixel) slab and would have a Kirin 960 processor with 4 or 6 GB of RAM. On the storage side, we would have the choice between 32, 64 or 128 GB.
A little bigger, the P10 Plus would display a diagonal of 5.5 inches, also in definition QuadHD. The Plus would differ visually by curved edges, the way a Galaxy S7 edge. On the configuration side, no change. There should also be a Kirin 960, a high-end chip expected to compete with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, two processors whose color has not yet been seen.
Meanwhile, Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei, said on the Chinese social network Weibo that Watch 2 will also be on stage at the MWC. The availability of Android Wear 2.0 is probably not unrelated to this announcement. If we do not know anything about this new watch, we can cling to a clue provided by Huawei. It would be "designed for the free spirits", enough to let imagine a connection 4G specific to the watch, a centerpiece in the new version of Android Wear 2.0.
