Climb the Everest RV

Climb the Everest RV

Many mountaineers have ventured into the heart of the Himalayas, but only a few elected officials have been able to reach the summit of Mount Everst.
But with this application, the highest peak in the world is within reach of any amateur VR helmet. Indeed, the Icelandic studio VR Solfar and RVX of Reykjavík have just launched an immersive virtual reality experience called Everest VR.

Unlike other 360 ° applications, Everset VR allows you to interact with your environment with Oculus Touch controllers. These accessories are transformed into an ice ax for the occasion. The user can thus climb the snow-capped mountains through climbing missions. Unmissable places such as the foot of the Everest, the Khumbu glacier, or the Lhotse face have been reproduced faithfully.

Everst VR was not designed as a game, but rather as an adventure and a discovery. VR Solfar and RVX have developed a "God mode" as an alternative to missions. It allows to telereport anywhere and to appreciate directly the landscapes. Everest VR is available for $ 16.99 and is compatible with HTC Vive. This video shows what to expect:
