Meizu has not presented a new smartphone, but a technology that must "anticipate Apple and Samsung," according to him.
Super mCharge is a fast charging system that can fully charge a 3000 mAh smartphone in 20 minutes. This is currently the best proposal from the market. In frontal, there is Qualcomm and its Quick Charge. The latest version 4.0 has not yet been released and its specifications are already less powerful. Qualcomm thus communicates on a load of 0 to 50% in 15 minutes, which Meizu does in less than 10 minutes. And to drive the knife into the wound, Qualcomm tests are performed on a 2750 mAh battery.
Meizu also wants to ensure the safety of the user. Its Super mCharge is optimized to prevent overheating. The manufacturer thus manages to use only half the current required to achieve the best efficiency. To this must also be added that the temperature is at maximum 39 ° C during the load. All these aspects are supposed to guarantee the safety of the system.
To subscribe, however, it must be equipped accordingly. Meizu explains that a specific string must be respected. Battery, USB-C cable and AC adapter must all be compatible with the Super mCharge. A constraint that will limit this technology to only Meizu smartphones. All ranges will however be compatible as soon as the technology is available on Meizu products.
She is currently orphaned since not yet exploited on a commercial device. According to the Chinese manufacturer, it should be available by 2018.
