Windows 10 Creators Update also built for mobile

The new Build of Windows Creators Update gives the Windows Phone a number of features previously reserved for PCs.

A few days after delivering the build 15002, Microsoft has released a new test version of Windows 10 Creators Update: build 15007. Reserved for beta-testers registered in the publisher's dedicated program, Windows Insiders, This new preview is aimed at both PC desktop and smartphones officially eligible for Windows 10 (called "Fast Ring").


If the 15007 build is intended for both IT environments, the innovations made differ from platform to platform. The PC is entitled to improvements to the Edge browser by sharing tabs with applications, importing data from another browser (favorites, browsing history, passwords ...), a pre- Download or even an improvement of Web Note, the tool of annotation of pages, which now displays all the proposed colors in Windows Ink.

Ten new features for Windows Phone

Note also the possibility of finding in the center of notifications (Action Center) the links to the last documents opened on line when passing from one PC to another. This will simplify their recovery to continue the work started. The display of a progress bar in case of download should also appear in the notifications area. The facial recognition tool also has improvements, especially for the recording of facial features. Finally, the screenshot and cropping of the image can now be done completely on the keyboard. The mobile offer, for its part, benefits from a dozen new features, many of which are inherited from the improvements previously made to the PC. Starting with the ability to pause the system updates introduced in the build 15002. Identity management on the Azure Active Directory (AAD) will simplify the synchronization of passwords, Wi-fi profiles, Edge favorites And other data from a Windows Phone as part of business use. It is also now possible to reset a mobile application to its initial state (necessary in case of instability over time, for example). An event recall system from Cortana is introduced and it is now possible to encrypt the data stored on the removable SD card.

Large number of bugs corrected

This new offer of the future version of Windows 10 also corrects its batch of previous achievements. Note that, according to users feedback, the improvements that Microsoft offers today might not eventually be kept in Creators Update.
