After the first leaks last October, the Halfbeak watch from HTC and Under Armor remade her with new shots posted on the Chinese social network Weibo.
While version 2.0 of Android Wear is expected to arrive on February 9, the manufacturer HTC does not seem particularly eager to unveil its first connected watch. Baptized Halfbeak, she first talked about it in September 2015. More than a year later, it is still not available in the trade, nor even announced. It seems however that it is on the way to believe several photos unveiled last week on the social network Weibo.
The watch seen on these different photos resembles in all points the one already seen last October on the same site. You can always see the two HTC and Under Armor logos, as well as several interface elements of the Android Wear system or two different dials depending on the one chosen by the user. More amazing, the watch would run under version 1.3 of Android Wear and not version 2.0 even though the update would be scheduled for in a few days and it seems unlikely that the smartwatch will be marketed by then.
The Half Halfbeak is designed in partnership with the sports supplier Under Armor. It would be equipped with a round screen of 360 pixels by 360 with a heart rate sensor, two physical buttons on the right of the case. The watch could be unveiled by HTC on the occasion of Mobile World Congress to be held in Barcelona at the end of February.
