Dell: a new XPS 13 convertible with edge to edge display

The American manufacturer announced a declination 2 in 1 of its ultrabook XPS 13. At first glance, the device is again distinguished by the fineness of its borders.

Dell hopes to ride the success of the XPS 13

Last year, the experts were unanimous. The XPS 13 was one of the best laptops on the market. On the new model, there will be the Infinity Edge display as well as the compactness of the product. In addition, Dell also assumes the tactile aspect of this ultrabook. Thanks to its 2-in-1 configuration, this device reinforces its position as a serious competitor of MacBooks. There is also a passive Core i5 or i7 processor with an integrated chip Intel HD Graphics 615, 4 to 16 GB RAM, 128 GB to 1 TB SSD storage and a battery of 46 Watts per hour. The screen of the new XPS 13 will display an image in Full HD or in QHD + according to the chosen option.

After Microsoft launched its Surface Studio, other manufacturers would follow the move by also launching modular products. In addition, the Surface Dial would soon be open to other manufacturers who would also benefit from the latest innovations from the Windows application. In any case, the 2 in 1 convertible notebooks could be the big trend of this new year.

The new XPS 13 convertible will be available from 1000 dollars, starting January 5th. No date has yet been announced for France.
