SAMSUNG PROPOSES APPLICATION TO HELP DALTONIANS

SAMSUNG PROPOSES APPLICATION TO HELP DALTONIANS

People with color blindness perceive the world differently from others. Some colors appear different, which can be tricky or even dangerous if you want to identify a medicine, food or color of a traffic light. Samsung now offers an application to simplify their lives.

In partnership with the Hungarian company Colorlite, Samsung has launched the #SeeColors application, which is capable of adjusting compatible televisions to show them the same color spectrum as a normal viewer.

According to Samsung, "the #SeeColors application works on smartphones and TVs under Tizen to first identify the type and level of the user's disability. It then connects to the Samsung Smart TV to recalibrate the screen on the specific test results. By creating this solution with Colorlite, Samsung can offer this technology for the first time to televisions and smartphones. "

Best of all, the 2016 SUHD TVs from the brand will be sold with this preinstalled app. #SeeColors is available for residents of Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria.
