According to a 9to5Mac article, Apple would be developing augmented reality glasses in collaboration with Carl Zeiss. About two months ago, Tim Cook said in an interview that Apple was very interested in augmented reality. This statement is obviously to link with the current rumors about the future product.
It is an employee of Car Zeiss, specialist in optics, who would have confirmed the rumor. According to the latter, the German manufacturer and the American giant are working on a pair of augmented reality spectacles that could be unveiled this year.
If the employee of Zeiss announces a launch for this year, other sources however put a presentation for 2018. Despite the failure of the Google Glass, Apple does not seem frightened and would like to present its own pair of augmented reality glasses. According to Tim Cook, augmented reality would have more potential in the market than virtual reality. Now remains to know the functionality and usefulness of these glasses signed Apple.
