Sylvania will launch on the market a new model of intelligent bulb, the A19 Smart Multicolor.
Its owner would no longer have to connect it to a central hub, it can manage it through Apple's HomeKit or voice commands from Siri. Thus, to illuminate a room, simply synchronize the Bluetooth lighting via the House application.
The A19 Smart Multicolor uses a built-in Wifi
Today, a hub is needed to control the connected bulbs within a home. In order to overcome this constraint, and seduce new customers, Sylvania will market the A19 Smart Multicolor. With Bluetooth, it's easy to set them up with the Apple Home app. The owner could easily indicate the basic settings and select the scenes he prefers. If he wishes, he can also rely on Siri's vocal assistant.
Controlling remote lighting requires the presence of an Apple TV or iPad on iOS 10. These devices will serve as relays to signals sent from the smartphone. According to available information, this smart bulb would arrive on the market early next year, the manufacturer will rely on Amazon for the commercial part. Even if the price has not yet been specified, observers estimate it would be over $ 40 per unit.
