If you are used to washing your clothes yourself, you know that not all clothes wash together.
Some are too delicate to be passed to the machine, or at least in a normal wash cycle. Others hardly support drying, etc. Samsung now offers a solution.
At the CES 2017 in Las Vegas, the South Korean giant unveils a new four-in-one system: a washing machine, FlexWash, and a dryer, the FlexDry. Both have a main compartment - with opening from the front - to accommodate "normal" clothing. They will be washed and dried as in a conventional machine.
But if you want to wash or dry more delicate parts, the FlexWash and FlexDry have a special compartment on top of the machine. The FlexDry, for example, has a Delicate Rack area, which dries the laundry in a heated air stream just as it should to preserve your clothes.
These four units can act independently or simultaneously, offering a wide latitude in your washes / dryings. If you are interested in this kind of functionality, you will have to be patient. For now, neither price nor availability has been announced.
