The Chinese brand ZTE had concluded its CES with two new smartphones: Blade Pro 8 and Hawkeye.
The design of the latter is based on user suggestions as part of the CSX Project launched in 2016. Surprise: Hawkeye is currently being funded on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter to raise $ 500,000 from here the month of February.
New concepts
The adhesive surface and the control with the eye are part of the ideas retained by the mark and which will integrate the smartphone. The adhesive surface allows a free hand use thanks to an additional shell that can be fixed on different types of surfaces. As for the control with the eye, ZTE relies on a technology called Senseye. The smartphone follows the eye movements of the user and can react accordingly. The functionality is convenient for reading a book on the screen.
Basic technical characteristics
Hawekeye features a Snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB RAM, a dual 12 and 13 megapixel photo sensor, and a print-on-the-back drive. The Fykk HD screen is 5.5 inches and the smartphone powered by a 3000mAh battery accepts a dual SIM. The device is expected to cost $ 199, but for now ZTE is far from reaching its goals since it has only collected $ 30,500 from 159 contributors.
