Last October, Microsoft announced its new version of Windows 10, called Creators Update (or RedStone 2). At the time, the publisher had evoked an exit "early 2017", without giving further details. We know a little more now through the site MSPoweruser: it would be for April.
According to the site in question, Microsoft would have assigned the number 1704 to its next update of Windows 10. The first two digits represent the year, while the last two correspond to the month of release. Although in the past, Microsoft has not always respected this nomenclature (the Anniversary Update is number 1607, but came out on August 2, 2016), everything has always been a few days away. If the Creators Update did not come out in April, it would probably be at the end of March that the OS will show up for download on Microsoft's servers. But anyway, it will wait another 3 months before taking advantage of the new edition of Windows 10.
At the same time, according to MSPoweruser, Microsoft developers are in the process of finalizing the new functions of the OS. Starting in late January, the Windows 10 development team will focus on bug fixing and patch output, and will no longer add functionality to the operating system.
Finally, by the end of the year, Microsoft should also deliver another update: RedStone 3. But for now, as the development of this new edition is in its infancy, Output can be a source of multiple changes.
