Google adds Flac support to its Chrome browser

Google adds Flac support to its Chrome browser

For some time, the format MP3 is losing more and more popularity and many are to him prefer the Flac. This is particularly the case of Google which decided to add support for the Flac for Chrome 56.
The Flac is an alternative to the MP3 format because it allows a sound of much better quality while being less voluminous. The audiophiles will therefore be delighted to learn that the Flac lands on Chrome 56. Still must have the beta version of the browser.

How does this translate into practice? And now, on Chrome 56, you will not have to download a file to have it in Flac format. All you have to do is launch the audio file and the browser will read it in the original format. If you do not have the beta version, you will have to wait until the functionality is available to all users.
