Gmail: a new fishing that damages

Gmail is once again victim of an attack that even succeeds in deceiving the most cautious users. This attack that has been raging for some time already affected several Gmail accounts last year.
Phishing that has been meticulously crafted threatens the security of user data. This very complex phishing acts first of all by sending you an email from a contact in your address book who has also been a victim. This mail contains an attachment that is actually a screen capture with a link. You are then redirected to what you think is the Gmail home page.

The new page prompts you to enter your email address and password in order to log in to your account. This is when the user gets trapped. Hackers now have your usernames and your password in order to log in to your account and re-mail phishing mail to all your contacts.

If hackers can log into your account, they can not only pass themselves on to you and send trapped e-mails to your contacts, but it also means they can view all your history and have access to all your information related to Your Gmail account. Google that works on a solution, recommends to its users two-step authentication to avoid this type of attack.
