The new version of the OS for smartwatches from Google will be released in a few weeks. It will probably be accompanied by the presentation of two new Android watches.
It is in May 2016 that Google lifted the veil on Android Wear 2.0, the new version of its mobile OS dedicated to computer clothing. An offer that is still not available but expected to be released in early February.
Google sent an email to developers to warn them that it is currently finalizing this OS, which will be released in early February. The OS is behind schedule but remains in the nails of its roadmap last September (see "Google is dropping the release of Android Wear 2.0 to 2017").
The firm is taking the opportunity to prevent developers using obsolete technologies in their applications. "If you do not act, users will no longer be able to search and find your apps on the Play Store," alerts the company.
Two new smartwatches
Various smartwatches will be able to use this new OS. News could also be presented in the wake of the release of Android Wear 2.0.
Google has recently confirmed that it will unveil two new watches soon. See our previous article "Google will launch two Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches in 2017". However, no indication has been given of the manufacturer (s) of these two watches.
