The kickstarter drone Lily makes a flop

The kickstarter drone Lily makes a flop

Despite 60,000 pre-orders valued at $ 34 million, the Lily drone will not fly away. The company has decided to put an end to its project for financial reasons.
The founders, Antoine Balaresque and Henry Bradlow announced the news in a blog entitled "The adventure is coming to an end". In this release, the two creators apologize to the customers and give the reasons for such a decision. Despite a promising project, the company was unable to maintain the funds needed to start production.

Of course, customers who pre-ordered the drone will be reimbursed in full within 60 days. However, for individuals who have used an expired credit card, you will need to fill out a specific form. The drone Lily was an autonomous camera drone, able to follow the bearer of a small tracking device. It was sold at 499 dollars or 470 euros. To activate Lily, it was just enough to send it in the air. In addition, Lily was water resistant and had a 20 minute battery life. Unfortunately the project did not survive the competition and cost restrictions.
