Samsung confirmed this weekend that the Galaxy S8 integrate a virtual assistant Viv. The founder of Viv Labs, a startup behind its development, is none other than the creators of Siri, Apple's assistant. recently acquired by Samsung, this small company has to help the giant to recover from the thundering failure of its Galaxy Note 7.
Samsung did not give details. It merely stated that his system would be open to third party developers so that it fits best into their applications. Viv would be more advanced than the assistants offered by competitors Apple and Google, including being able to answer more complex questions.
The new virtual assistant would not only equip the Galaxy S8, but it could also be subsequently integrated with other devices such as household equipment or connected devices from Samsung.
