Released in 1988 on NES, Ninja Gaiden is part of the classics of the video game of the time, for its uncommon difficulty, but also for its musics which have remained in the memories.
These same musics will know the honors of a release in remastered version, passing from the processor of the NES to a more modern orchestration while retaining the chiptune sounds of the time.
It is the Brave Wave label that will take charge of this official reorchestration of the music of the Japanese composer Keiji Yamagishi, who has since worked on many other titles. This label had already been talked about by working on a similar project concerning the music of Street Fighter II, which had been published in vinyl last year. This new project should bear the name of Ninja Gaiden: The Definitive Soundtrack and propose the music of the first three games in two volumes.
Note also that this reissue will propose the music of the console version, but also of the arcade, again in a remastered version. Finally, if the vinyl edition should be very popular, the label announces that the music will also be broadcast digitally, which should compensate for the lack of pre-orders and possible shortages that could follow the release. Fans can listen to a preview of these music on the SoundCloud account of Brave Wave.
