Released in August, the Xbox One S is compatible with HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology, which allows for enhanced color and contrast. Microsoft has formalized the list of titles compatible with this technology.
Aaron Greenberg, marketing director for the Xbox division at Microsoft, has announced on his Twitter account a list of all HDR-compatible titles on the Xbox One S. This is one of the main new features of The new console compared to the Xbox One released in 2013. This technology allows for better color reproduction and higher contrast. We take advantage of a higher level of detail (to make it simple, because it is actually a little more complicated). Here is the list in question:
- Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
- Final Fantasy XV
- Forza Horizon 3 (already HDR compatible)
- Gears of War 4 (already HDR compatible)
- Hitman
- NBA 2K17 (already HDR compatible)
- Pure Chess Ultra
- ReCore (expected release early 2017)
- Resident Evil 7
- World of Tanks
Note in the end that some titles are already available, when others will point the tip of their nose next year.
