Earlier this month, DJI announced the launch of its new Inspire 2 drone with some very interesting features. Nevertheless, if you were to buy the Inspire 2 for its speed, you may want to review your plans. The Chinese manufacturer has announced that it will reduce the speed of its drone.
Inspire 2 would be slower than expected. It would now show a maximum speed of about 93 km / h against the original 107 km / h. The drone would no longer reach 80 km / h in four seconds but in five seconds.
The company decided to make this change because too high a speed of the device can compromise the quality of the video. At too high a speed, the drone would lack stability, which would have consequences on the video. The reason seems therefore sufficient to sacrifice a bit of speed especially since the Inspire 2 mainly targets filmmakers.
