Faced with a growing number of iPhone 6 Plus victims of a touch screen that makes the soul, Apple finally decided to recognize this problem and take it officially. So affected users will be able to go to the Apple Store to have their iPhone defective, but it will not be free: the transaction will be charged $ 149 if it is made out of warranty.
If the repair seems expensive at first, its price has nevertheless decreased compared to the first repairs carried out for this problem: the first customers concerned had indeed paid the sum of 329 dollars to find a functional iPhone. Apple has indicated that they will be refunded the difference upon request. Being eligible for a repair for this preferential rate is also not insignificant: Apple requires that customers present themselves with an iPhone "working properly, the screen not showing any cracks or broken items".
Touch screen problems on iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have begun to appear in recent weeks. A growing number of users reported a touch screen that simply stops working and the appearance of a gray band at the top of the screen, so much so that the phenomenon has been dubbed "Touch Disease" across the Atlantic. Some consumers even initiated a class action lawsuit against Apple, accusing the manufacturer of refusing to acknowledge a widespread problem.
