Tesla: his autonomous behavior seen from all angles

Tesla: his autonomous behavior seen from all angles

Elon Musk, boss of Tesla, published on his Twitter account a new demo of his autonomous car. Last October, Tesla announced an update that would allow its cars to run in complete autonomy. Elon Musk had already offered us at the time a demonstration video that showed the car driving without the intervention of the driver.

The new demo aims to show how a Tesla gets on the road and what she sees. In the video we have several fields of view: the road view from the inside of the car, the front camera, the left rear camera and the right rear camera. The result of this video is a veritable swirl of colors. It is noted that the car identifies lines, signs, other cars and other potentially dangerous objects, highlighting them with squares of different colors.

In this demo, a person is seated in the driver's seat, as required by US law, but at no time does it affect the operation of the vehicle. The car runs completely autonomous on public roads, stops at the stops and finishes its race by parking.
