Jaguar introduces I-Pace: its first electric SUV

Jaguar introduces I-Pace: its first electric SUV

At the Los Angeles Auto Show, the British automaker presented its first electric SUV called I-Pace. Jaguar which is usually very traditional, seems finally ready to bet on electric vehicles. The future of the automobile market is concentrated in the all-electric and more and more manufacturers of sports vehicles make the bet.
This is particularly the case of Jaguar which offers its first 100% electric model. The I-Pace is an SUV that has a modern design and a striking line. It measures 4.68 meters in length and 1.56 meters in height. It is therefore less high and shorter than the F-Pace model.

The vehicle has two reduced electric motors and is devoid of a drive shaft, which has saved space in the passenger compartment. Jaguar therefore reviewed the interior of the vehicle and reorganized the space. The front seats have in particular been advanced to leave more space at the rear. Thus, the space in the passenger compartment is similar to a top car while it is an SUV.

With the I-Pace, Jaguar plays on proportions with a new concept that combines both the design of a sports car, a spacious interior and the look of an SUV.
