Yevgeniy Aleksandrovich Nikulin is the hacker who hacked in 2012 would have the professional social network LinkedIn. But it seems that he also hacked the online storage service Dropbox and the old social network Formspring.
According to the indictment, the hacker would have acted in the spring-summer 2012 and it has obtained the IDs of several LinkedIn employees, Formspring and certainly Dropbox, to carry out its hacking operations.
Since these services are more vigilant and have stepped up efforts to better protect the data of their users. But at the time, data leakage of the three platforms were substantial and had updated the problems and vulnerabilities of social networks and online storage services.
Yevgeniy Aleksandrovich Nikulin was arrested in 2012 in the Czech Republic and currently remains in custody in Prague. His detention is another mini voltage front between the US and Russia that want both his extradition.
