First successful delivery for Uber Autonomous Truck

In addition, the Otto team carried out a detailed mapping of the route. The Otto kit is $ 30,000 and can be fitted to any vehicle with an automatic transmission. Although it will still be possible to reduce costs, several transport companies are already interested in this type of project.

They would save $ 50 million a year by using independent trucks while continuing to employ truck drivers.
