A jailbreak expert now works for Apple. Jonathan Zdziarski, a security researcher and true advocate for digital privacy, has joined a department responsible for operating system security at the Apple brand.
The man has just formalized the news on his blog. "This decision marks the conclusion of what I think has become a matter of conscience for me over time," he said, referring to the importance of personal digital data.
Jonathan Zdziarski was particularly insurgent in the case between Apple and the FBI. He offered his expertise and had clearly defended the Cupertino firm. However, it was not always favorable to Apple's policy. He was an active member of the jailbreak community that modified the iOS to accept unofficial applications. His expertise has enabled us to discover security breaches of the operating system as well as other popular applications such as WhatsApp.
With his new position, Jonathan Zdziarski now turns a new page in his life. He canceled his Twitter account where he often criticized his current employer.
