Launched last July on iOS, the multi-snaps feature finally arrives on the Android application. Now, Android users are no longer limited to 10-second snaps and can enjoy a better user experience.
In July, Snapchat launched multi-snaps on its iOS application. Until now, users were limited to snaps of up to 10 seconds, which could create frustration for some. To allow its users to share longer videos, Snapchat has introduced multi-snaps. Instead of extending the maximum duration, Snapchat allows you to take 6 clips of 10 seconds in a row to create videos of up to 60 seconds.
Just like for a classic snap, the user just has to hold down the record icon after the first 10 seconds. A visual signal will warn the user each time he has recorded a 10-second clip. The user can even edit each clip by adding filters or text. He can then share the final video directly with his friends or add it to his Stories.
The multi-snaps feature is being deployed on Android.
