OnePlus 5T: finally borderless?

Kumamoto, an active member of the Chinese social network Weibo, has posted a photo of what would be the OnePlus 5T. In a rumor since a few months, the replacement of OnePlus 5 should be presented before the end of the year.

The differences are in the details. Physically, the 5T would be embedded in an identical chassis with the same buttons on its edges.

Its edge-to-edge screen would be improved, gaining height both on its high part and on its lower part. To do this, OnePlus would delete the physical home button. Its biometric sensor would be deported to the back of the device, just above the logo of the brand. As for the navigation buttons, they would be integrated directly on the screen, like a Galaxy S8, for example.

Recall the technical characteristics of this OnePlus 5T. The most insistent rumors speak of a 6-inch screen displaying in 2160 x 1080 pixels. It would be animated by a Snapdragon 835 coupled to 6 or 8 GB of RAM. A correct internal configuration, but without innovation compared to the OnePlus 5. Ditto side storage with 64 or 128 GB. The photo part would still benefit from a double sensor of 16 and 20 megapixels.
