Last year, a man had created a surprise by marrying his smartphone in Las Vegas. Chris Sevier also wants to embark on this unlikely union, but with his laptop, as reported by the US channel Fox 13. However, the project came up against the refusal of Utah County.
Chris Sevier brought the case to court, alleging an infringement of his fundamental rights. Utah Deputy Attorney General David Wolf defended himself by highlighting the absurdity of the complaint. A marriage must be between two consenting persons. He also states that the Utah County's refusal was not motivated by "discrimination based on his sexual preference for the machines".
The complainant is already familiar with these types of court cases. In 2013, he sued Apple because its devices could read adult content. Then, it continued on the same register by attacking the access providers. Chris Sevier wanted them to install automatic filters against adult sites.
