Apple HomePod: more than a speaker, a personal assistant

Rumors had announced that Apple was preparing an intelligent enclosure. So it's no surprise that yesterday, during the keynote, Apple introduced the Siri Speaker called HomePod.

Thanks to the integration of Siri, the HomePod is a true personal assistant that answers your voice thanks to its 6 microphones. To activate the voice command, it will be enough to say aloud "Hey Siri" followed by your request. The user can send messages to his contacts via iMessages, receive notifications regarding weather and news. It can also control its other connected objects from the wizard.

HomePod is less than 20 cm high and is equipped with the A8 processor. It has sensors that allow it to adapt the sound to the size of the room. HomePod will be available in December in the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom for a sale price of $ 349. Its launch in France is planned for 2018.
