Facebook will prepare an application for teens

Facebook will prepare an application for teens

Facebook would have in its drawers the project to launch an application intended for teenagers. Facebook that tries to compete with Snapchat, very popular among the youngest, may well have found a new idea to compete in this market.
According to The Information, codes would have been spotted within the Facebook application. The latter referred to a novel application called "Talk". The application would be based around a parental control, "Talk is a messaging where you have total contact control". This means that parents can monitor with whom their children communicate.

In addition, other references highlight the fact that "Talk" is aimed primarily at young teenagers, "Children love to use Talk's creative tools to play games or share fun masks with family and friends." Note that children will also be able to use "Talk" to communicate with their parents.

Talk users do not have to have a Facebook account. This is interesting when you know that many parents forbid their children from using social networks. It remains to be seen if Facebook intends to release its new mail or if it is still a simple test.
